Looks like we're in this for the long haul :(
We were hoping to be able to go "back to normal" before school was out, but evidently that's not the case. As we progress with the flexible learning plan, I'll send updates and ideas to aid in ours studies and projects! To start off though, I have some great online resources and reminders for science that the kids will learn from and enjoy! If you have access to online resources these are excellent enhancements to our current science "Choice Board" activities! 1. "Science Max" episodes on You Tube! They are engaging, funny, and full of great experiments that are maxed out! 2. Did you know that Netflix has all new episodes of "The Magic School Bus Rides Again"? If you already have a subscription this is an excellent series of new episodes that most kids haven't already watched! (The older series, The Magic School Bus, is also on You Tube) 3. The Science Symbaloo on Our Class Website has many fun links to sites such as National Geographic, EdHeads, Study Jams and many more fun and science based game sites! Saving the best for last, if you are able to get online then go to Education Galaxy, click Education Galaxy (not Lift Off). Click "My Study Plan", "Science", then scroll the the last section! These are the concepts we have not covered in depth this year and would be an excellent way to review and be ready for 5th grade! Watch the mini-lesson 1st! They are a little slow but do a great job covering the big ideas!
